About Us
Papa's Bar & Grill and Mama's Oyster House are both locally owned and operated and are located next door to each other in the downtown Historic Business District in Natchitoches, Louisiana, overlooking the beautiful Cane River.
Papa's Bar & Grill opened in August 1996. Papa's offers a wide variety of sandwiches, including hamburgers and poboys, fried seafood and USDA choice steaks.
Mama's Oyster House opened in October 2000 and offers a menu concentrating in seafood dishes and, of course, fresh Louisiana oysters.
Mama's expanded its dining capacity in the fall of 2006 by opening the Blues Room and a covered outdoor patio and is now capable of seating larger groups. Also Mama's has LIVE MUSIC on weekend nights. Call for more information.
